Hope Restored Through A Genuine Hand Up
The Direct Services department of Springs Rescue Mission provides food boxes, clothing, household items, and other life essentials to struggling families with children, the working poor, the homeless, and anyone who is struggling to make ends meet.
In tough economic times it can sometimes be hard to just pay the rent, in addition to all the other expenses that are common place like gas and food. We help many families and those underemployed by providing the basic necessities that help them make it month to month.
People come looking for help and leave filled with hope!
Our doors are open wide to provide emergency services for our neighbors in need. Through a fully stocked food pantry, clothing/essential needs store, and furniture warehouse we supply all items absolutely FREE OF CHARGE. We also provide referral services with an established network of other service agencies throughout our city.
It is through the generosity of our many partners and volunteers that we are able to distribute tons of clothing every year absolutely FREE, along with thousands of food boxes, blankets, and furniture items. During the Winter months we provide cold weather clothing and gear. Last year alone, we gave away over 10,000 coats to men, women and children in need!
